Shawn Cruz is an illustrator from Modesto, California, a new resident to Salem. Under the comic book studio CURB-JOB COMICS, he produced Ghastly Parables (with Joey Lee) and Voodoo Boogie. A number of other projects in the mean-time have included album art for punk bands like The Frightmares and The Automatons. He enjoys working with bands for show flyers, album art, and logos.
Currently he is working with Normandy Guitars to produce Psycho Guitar Killers, which showcases a different band in each issue; continuing to work with bands he himself is a fan of, and producing artwork for the bands. Issue #1 featured Salem’s own Irish punks “Potatoe Famine”, and issue #2 features California desert rock band “Eagles of Death metal”. |

Corrosive Comics Studio is located in Salem, OR. Corrosive is an independent studio, made up of artists/writers that crave making comic books outside of conventional content and style. They are Shawn Cruz, Micah Baker, and Sean Hollenhors. (Click each name to learn more about our staff)
Currently, Corrosive Comics is producing three titles, all of which are either self published, or published with a partner from Salem.
